Mapletail yawned then stretched as he woke up from a peaceful night's sleep. He looked around the den and lay his head back on his nest of moss that the apprentices had recently collected for him. The other warriors were still sleeping, so Mapletail carefully and quietly picked himself up and crept out of his nest. He glanced around the SunClan camp, seeing the leader's den, the apprentice's den, the elder's den, the nursery and the medicine cat's den. Suddenly, a wave of sleepiness overcame him and he tiptoed back to his den, back to his nest with the other warriors. He curled up in his nest near the edge of the den since he was a fairly new warrior. Mapletail dozed back off to sleep.
