Hunting..

LionStar approached the waters edge, he decided he will swim in the deep water and see how much fish he could gather. The tom slipped into the water skillfully, careful to not startle the fish. He took a large breath and pushed himself under the water.

A water vole sped past LionStar, he swam quickly towards it, but his huge body wasn't made for swimming, he got tangled in some reeds, but managed to worm his way through. The vole kept swimming, but LionStar was smart and slashed out his claws, wounding the water vole, LionStar then swam up and locked his jaws onto the water vole. LionStar killed the water vole then popped out of the water, he dropped the vole to the side then dove back under, keen for for action,

LionStar glanced around in the water, he could tell a school of fish were near by, he pressed himself along the bottom of the river, then waited, just as predicted a school of fish swam past, not seeming to notice LionStar. LionStar swam up towards them, and clapped his jaws shut on the bodies of 2 fish, he then lashed out his claws again, wounding a few fish, he hooked one on with his jaws then eagerly wwent to surface,

LionStar dropped the 2 fish he had in his jaws, then relaxed his claws and the fish slipped off. He scooped up his prey and buried most of it, so he could return and take each peice back to Camp, he scooped up the 2 fish then ran to Camp with it.

*pads in, up to the water edge*

*drops my claws into the water and fishes it around, quickly slams it into the side of a fish and pulls it to surface* Ah! Awesome. *Smiles, and pads back to Camp*

-Quickly dives into the water, a few moments later, I burst out of the water, a fat, overly fed fish tightly held in my jaws.-

*Slowly pads in, pads along the edge, to see if my shadow becomes visible, it does, so i slowly pad off*

"Great hunting skills, Rain, Fire." LionStar meowed as he trust his clawss into the water, he yanked out a large water vole then dumped it beside him, waiting for a good moment to take it back to Camp.

Thank you, LionStar. -Purrs, glancing into the water.-

-dives in the water for a long time, cats starting to worry. In a moment later, she get on shore and proudly show the three fat trouts in her jaws-

-Runs along the Stream edge, smothering the ferns around the edges with my scent-

SnakeHiss Padded Into The Hunting Ground, He Eyed The Water Through Narrowed Eyes.

Eyes Twinkle As The Water Reflects On Them

"RippledWave." SnakeHiss Said Slowly As He Lowered His Head Closer Towards The Water. "Shall We Hunt?" He Asked, RippledWave.

Smiles nodding "Yes."

-meows- "Let's hunt!"

-Cinderstorm dives in the river, and you didn't see her for a long time-

Watches Her. Shakes her gaze off and peers into the ripples.

-the tom noticed the shecat jump in, his eyes widended as she didn't resurface, he dove into the water, swiftly grabbing her, he laid her on the crisp grass and pushed on her stomach with his paws, meowing- Are you alright? -he asked-

SnakeHiss Carefully Stepped Forward, Plunging Into The Great Stream, He Pushed His Body Up And Took A Large Gulp Of Oxygen, The Dove Under The Water.

-nods- "Stupid reeds! they got on my leg!" -but in her jaw there was a water vole- "Thanks Swooptail"

-frozes, then silently put a paw near the river, then her paw flashed in and there was a fat trout on her paw. She killed it quickly-

SnakeHiss Burst Out Of The Water, A Large Trout In His Jaws. "Wh-What's Happening?" He Asked, Seeming Slightly Startled As He Saw CinderStorm Lying On The Grass.

Paws at the water. Sighs "I wish I could get in.."

-darts in the river, came back quickly, and slashed a fish and water mouse-

SnakeHiss Scrambled Out Of The Water And Sat Next To Rippled, Purring Warmly. "Can You Not Swim? I Could Teach You." He Offered,

"eh, Snakehiss, In the river a stupid reed got on my leg and wrapped it." -smiles at Swooptail- "He got me out." "Thanks again"

(Water Mice..? They Are Only In Mexico)

"Are You Sure.." She Meowed Glancing At Him

-eyes widen- "Wow, that rabbit must be stupid to come to the river where there is cats." She remarked quietly. She stalked it, then killed it with a powerful slash.

SnakeHiss Nodded. "Yes. It Is Rather Easy Once You Get Used To It. You Need To Take Things Slowly, First By Sliding Your Body Into The Water. Never Rush, Because The Bottom Of Riverbeds Can Be Slippery, Plus, You Never Know How Deep They May Be." He Instructed, Waving His Tail Sideways As He Spoke. "Don't Worry, I Wont Let You Drown, And Neither Will CinderStorm Or SwoopTail."

Nodded. Unsure, she dipped a paw in. Slowly age slipped in, the slippery bank running through her paw

-nods- "Snakehiss's right. I was catching the vole, and you need to be careful of reeds that can wrap around your leg. I didn't notice, and that's why I got trapped in there." -smiles warmly at Swooptail-

He purred, nodding. "Don't mention it." The handsome gray tom flashed a smile at the she-cat before darting away.

SnakeHiss Followed You, Entering The Water, He Paddled A Mouse Length Away And Meowed Slowly. "You're Doing Well. When You Get Fully Into The Water, Spread Your Front Paws Out And Pretend To Claw At The Water, Then Slowly Take The Weight Off Your Back Legs And Slowly Kick At The Water With Your Back Legs." He Said, As He Paddled On The Spot, His Fur Soaked. "It Helped Me Learn To Swim If I Was Pretending To Fight It." He Said.

She slowly pulled her claw through the water, taking her whole body. She slashed her paws at the water, so scared, she forgot about her hind legs.

-quickly padded to Swooptail and murmer- "Thank you. YOu save my life." She flash him a warm smile before darting back to the river.

"Hey, SwoopTail, CinderStorm! Are You Two Love Birds Coming In, Or Not?" Snake Yowled Loudly, Laughter In His Tone. SnakeHiss Paddled Closer Towards RippledWave. "Take Things Slow. Take A Deep Breath, Relax." He Said, Smiling Warmly.

-nudges you- "i'm already here! Right next to you!"

She Started Slowly pulling through the water, kicking her back legs, "This is embarrassing.." She Murmered

"I think it's you and Rippledwave, not Swooptail and I"

SnakeHiss Chuckled, Thrashing The Water With His Claws, Splashing CinderStorm. He Quickly Turned To RippledWave, Still Chuckling. "You're Learning." He Said.

-alarm flash into her eyes- "Snakehiss! Get Rippledwave out of the water! Hawk! Attack!"She yowled.

-leaps up, jumping on the hawk's back. She gave the hawk's throat a mighty slash, the hawk felled down, and she quickly leaped on a tree branch-

-leaps down the tree, then splashed Snakehiss-

Frowns, Suddenly Is Pulled Under Water. She Thrashes At The Surface In Panic

-grumbles- "I don't know why Splashclan cats like to get wet."She grumbled, shaking her fur dry.

-leaps in the water, and grabbed Rippledwave back to the surface-

-meows urgently- "Rippledwave?Are you okay?"
